1Thanks to Orunmila he began to save

With only three cents on him, a man thought about taking his own life. His wife took him to Orunmila; this Ifá came out, he cleaned him and called him back in five days. He came back with five cents saved and said that his wish to die was gone. Orunmila made ebbó for him and asked him to come back after some days; on that visit he had seven cents saved, and from there he kept going up thanks to Orunmila.

A man had nothing left but three cents, and with that misery on him he got the idea of killing himself. His wife took him to Orunmila's house, where this Ifá came out. Orunmila cleaned him and sent him off with these words: "Come back in five days."

When he showed up again, the man already had five cents saved and told how his wish to die had gone away. Orunmila made ebbó for him and told him to come back after some days.

When he came back, he had seven cents saved, and from then on he kept going up, thanks to Orunmila. Ifá of curse.

2Yemayá and her tenants

The owner of many houses, Yemayá lived off the rents until her tenants stopped paying her; the trouble drove her so desperate that she wanted to hang herself. While she was looking for the rope it occurred to her to go to Orunmila, who, when he saw this Ifá for her, warned her: "you are thinking of killing yourself because things are going badly; be calm and do ebbó so you solve all your problems." She listened to the preaching, did the ebbó and took it where it had to go. The next day, her tenants started paying her everything they owed.

Yemayá owned many houses and lived off their rents, until one time the tenants stopped paying her. She was so desperate that she thought about taking her own life by hanging; but while she was looking for the rope, it occurred to her to go to Orunmila's house.

Orunmila made osode for her and, when he saw this Ifá, warned her: "You are thinking of killing yourself because things are going badly; be calm and do ebbó so you solve all your problems."

Note: next to Yemayá you put a basin with sea water and indigo, and right there a rooster is sacrificed; then it is filled with jutía, fish, corn, orí, efún, honey and otí, wrapped in blue cloth and taken to the sea. What is left in the basin is thrown into the street after three days.
